Jeff,

The distance from the windscreen to the back of the console in the centre and at the doors are 400 and 490 mm respectively.

Jeff if you look closely at the pic you can see the sunroof depression on the roof liner and the console is sitting well inside that...

I take it you are referring to the factory sun hatch

I just fitted my MUD stuff roof console and also a glovebox conversion. I managed to destroy one of the small (4.5mm) christmas tree thingamajigs for the centre section, so have to try and track down a replacement.

The glovebox instal was a piece of cake but the roof console a bit more work - especially with getting the antenna coax and power wiring up there. Now all I need is the replacement on/off/volume knob for my GME TX4400 2-way and I'll be all set.

Well there goes that option for me as I'm getting a new 90 with factory sunroof =/

Is there any other UHF/storage mods that can be done to increase room for bitties on trips?

Looks like it raises the overall height of the cubby a couple inches which wouldn't be bad for arm resting maybe.

I cant seem to find them online for sale, any suggestions where to look?
