    The exbox is great.
I had an auto electrician move everything. I took one look at the job & decided way too hard a job for me.
The only issue was the original centre console annoyed me as it Sat a little to high. I keeps hitting my elbow on it & felt blocked in. If I wasn't such a short arse it would be ok.

Good luck with getting your seats done.
    Well worth the spend.
Makes driving my deefer more enjoyable.

    Good stuff Mick,
Hows it compare to the Recaros, I know you only had a short burl in mine.

What I hate about the Recaros & such is you have to unbolt the bloody things to get under the seats,

Yours is the way to go and for under a grand - what a bargain.

(btw- I was already expecting to see a AirCon where your fire extinguisher is )

    G'day Mick,

Where did you get your boss kit from. I have spoken to Auto Tek (Momo importer) in Melbourne they tell me they have the Momo bosses to suit Defender, part No. 5613. Did you try them and have no luck or didn't know about them. I just wanted to check before I get one and find it doesn't work.

Looks great Mick. Just a gratuitous plug for someone out my way who would do something similar is [I]Classic and Sports Auto Interiors in Etham. Tony rebuilt the Subaru seats I had fitted to the County.

When I took them in to have the bolster shortened and explained what I had had done and the $ , he said next time come down with the originals and he will rebuild the complete original seats to my specs as you have had done.

    Mate I loved your recaros.
But I gotta say my seats are just as good and I now don't have issues with having to remove seats to get to things.

The air con is definately going to happen. Believe me folks I've driven Dons car and the AC is fantastic. It is on the to do list.
    Probably in 3rd position.

More importantly how's the trip going and where are you?

I got mine on ebay from the UK.
    Store name is lincetrading.
    All up around $50 landed.
just make sure you take your steering wheel off and count the splines before ordering. I can't put the link up as I'm at work and the fun police do not allow access to ebay.

Don't know about the part number, but it fit well & does the job.

    Cheers
    Mick
