Thread: Lighting Problem

Hi, headlights not working, both high n low. Problem started when I changed my globes to HOD H4 100/90w. The parker headlight switch failed due to overheating. I bought a new switch and changed it over, now only parkers working and still no headlights or high beam. Checked fuses they are ok, checked relay thats ok as well, thats the one in the fuse box. However, was playing with the new switch and could hear clicking behing the speedo/dash, found pink relay no lucas DA 12 volt YWC 10050. Its a 7 pin. I can hear a click on parkers, but not headlights or high beam.

Has anyone had a problem with this relay and does it control the headlight main beam, thanks Jim.

Why on earth would you fit 90/100s on the stringy wiring!

I would suggest you've melted a connection, or an earth or terminal has melted.
