If the winch fits and your prepared for the extra weight it has the same mounting bolt pattern as a 9500.
The issue is not that it will or wont work. If you (or anyone else) are experienced in recovery then there is no issue. If you are not then you need to be concentrating on and thinking about just how much load you are demanding. The reality is that the likelihood of getting to this critical point with a 9500 is much less than with a 16000.

Each to their own. You pays your money, you takes your choice.

Don't forget that the 16.5ti is 20-30 kg heavier than a 'standard' winch. You need to be mindful that this may necessitate heavier front springs and may have other affects on your vehicle. If the vehicle is still under warranty then be careful. There could well be insurance implications.
