theres a kit for it.
best mounting place for the relays is on the bolts for the EGR actuator control valves
best feed is the output of the alternator or the hot pole of the startermotr (Fuse it)

Hi all ,My TD5 headlights (high/low) do not work. However, parkers work,as does high beam, working off indicator stalk. So far have changed light switch, replaced indicator switch less than a year ago, checked all fuses including 30 amp under seat and relays. This is with the ignition swiched on. I have now read that a number of other TD5 owners have had the same problem. There are a lot of suggestions that may fix it, but I cannot find a definate answer . What I propose to do is rewire lights through 2 new relays, 1 high, 1 low. I would like to keep switch feed from fuse board, new main supply from battery via new fuse box, either on fire wall or under seat next to battery. Has anyone done this before? If so, any tips would be great, thanks Jim

Thanks for the info Dave , I'll make sure it's fused ,before relays . I'll also look at the alternator output ,also starter input . Dave do you know if the kit wires are an upgrade in the wire gauge ? or are they the same , I don't need my truck for the next week or so ,it gives me a bit of time . kind regards jim
