As a point of interest, one thing that has been discussed with/by a few "vaners" I have met including my aunt and uncle who seem to do nothing but travel, is not to put "your names" on your van. Apparently this can help undesirables gain entry as they can pretend to be "known" to you, when in fact they aren't.
I have also found that it seems alot of people don't actually travel with their radios on. I've wanted to tell them something about tyres or bits hanging off the back of their van etc, and then just ended up flagging them down.

That mostly has something to do with the language content on most UHF channels now. I don't turn mine on any more, either
