    Try Coffs Harbour 4WD Centre - Ph: 6653 1800
They have a great interest in Land Rovers and may be able to help out.

Failing that, MR Automotive in Brisbane area seem to have a good reputation with many AULROians.

I am currently at Coffs Harbour heading to the Gold Coast and Brisbane tomorrow. I am going to drop the shaft out in the morning but now I am back on stock height springs I am looking for a stock shaft in good condition along the way that someone might be good enough to loan/sell me. Alternatively any ideas on a retailer/wrecker that I might be able to buy one from.

Challenge might be that I have a D2 flange in, given I am not sure how to change the flange some help is also required.

I just don't feel comfortable doing the next 1400km home on just the rear with centre difflock.

    Cheers
    Iain

P.s. Wayne (Lowranger) now is a great opportunity to tell me how great your tom woods is......!!!

Do me a favour, and buy a bloody Woods shaft,as I get quite depressed when I read about all these shaft failures, where there is such an easy fix
You could buy a couple of Woods shafts and carry a couple of spares for what you have spent on other shafts. Not that you would need to replace one of Toms shafts

Attached is the current National List of Landy repairers. There's actually 2 in Coffs HArbour and one in Byron Bay as well as a number around Brisbane.

Just lock the centre diff and drop the front prop shaft.
People have been doing that since the Rangie was first released, let alone Stage Ones, 110's, etc.
