    Mechanic in central coast

    Hi guys , I have recently moved to the Central Coast NSW area, and I am wondering is there a good Defender mechanic around these parts.
    I have asked a few mechanics if the work on Defenders and they just laugh and look at me funny, one even said , why would you buy a Defender.
    Oh we'll no hope for some.

    There is also one on the Wyong straight. I have bought parts there but not used them , but they are LR specialists.

    Hi

    I am on the Central Coast and I have a mate who is am excellent Mechanic but he works for Pirtek.

    So if you are looking for major work, he is no use, but for servicing and minor works he is great.

    If that is the sort of mechanic you are looking for then send me a PM

    Steve has been around LR's for ever and there is virtually nothing he doesn't know.

    He has worked on my LR's (D1 D2 D3 and PUMA) and I have never had an issue or complaint.

    I would recommend English Autos too, we took both our Land Rovers to them when we lived on the Central Coast and we are still buying parts off them.

    They are pretty good, only ever had one issue with them and thats when they let the apprentice work on our Land Rover Defender - didnt do the job at all, just cleaned it so it looked like it had been done. But that was a few years ago now.
