Another odd Puma noise ...
Not a fault, but a noise that I have no idea about...
When standing still, foot off accelerator, start to push in clutch and I get a 'Booinnggg' noise like a ruler being pinged on a desk - sounds like a spring releasing, somewhere near my feet but not in the cab.
Doesnt happen every time ... another Puma quirk?
Strange intermittent noises make me nervous when i'm nearing warrantys end

I know the noise. I get it too. I have been told it is related to the traction control??

Yes, the guy at L/R today said it might be the ABS (which is linked to the TC?)

Yep, it's normal. I sometimes get it as well if I drop the clutch too quickly.

OK fine. Only mentioned because my clutch pedal creaks and thought this might be related. Parts on their way from UK to fix that ...

creak
that clutch pedal creak can be fixed by oiling the pedal arm pivots in the clutch box, accessed through the engine bay. I used chain bar oil.
