Very nice. BTW, looks good parked next to the stage 1.
Just fitted up a new ARB winch bar, with the new design.
Its alot better designed than the old winch bars, much better quality and is alot stronger, with a much better mounting system.
It took me about 2.5 hrs to fit including wiring in the indicators...pretty happy with the results.

Good work, I got mine installed by ARB last week. Awesome bar
Agree, very tidy.
I saw one fitted to a limited edition 110 at Southern Land Rover in Perth on Monday. It was ready for delivery and the new owner had somehow convinced Land Rover to have it fitted pre-delivery...
IMO it is a lot more sympathetic to the design and shape of the Defender than the version available in early 2010 when I bought my car.
Cheers,
Lou
Hi Summiitt,
Looks great!
A few questions:
- did you space the bar out or is that stock bar on stock mounts?
- did adding the bar reduce change your approach angle at all? (looks like it didn't)
- where's the winch?!?!?!

That looks very nice mate, it seems to sit a bit higher than the old model or is it just the outer edges that are higher. I like the look of the upswept bottom outer edges.
What sort of $ if you don't mind me asking.
That looks really good Summiitt!
Much better approach angle than the old ones!
Hercules: 1986 110 Isuzu 3.9 (4BD1-T)
Brutus: 1969 109 ExMil 2a FFT (loved and lost)
Looks great Summiitt, really suits.
Lou, you've got me thinking, I wonder what our options are for getting one fitted to an LE? I know Farry did a great job here, but being cack handed I've got no chance of doing it myself and ARB say it wont suit Xtech/LE's on their website, so I guess they wont do it.
The mounting system comes with packers, to get the bar to sit square on the ute, just add them to square it up, the mounts also have elongated holes to get the heights, left to right sorted, you then drill a hole on both sides to lock it all together, approach angles are better, suspension dropped about 5mm, which is bugger all.
Will fit a winch when I get a good deal!
Paid $1300 for the bar.
I can't work out how to do the forum thanks thing (maybe I don't have enough posts), so thanks!![]()
