Hmm ok I`ll admit it is a bit quicker than my old 4bb1, only just though
At the other end of the speed scale my old ute pulls away like that. In 4th it will get down to 30 Kph or less and pulls away to 90 Kph . Have not found out the limit in 5th and I am quite happy leaving it at 115 Kph

Geeze, thats not bad at all
Wonder what gearing he's running, mine screams at 100km/h.
It'll pull from 40, or 50 to 100 in 5th if i'm gentle on the throttle though

Both the gearing and the units of velocity are specified in the video.
Try looking.

I'd hate to be at the back of it, I bet it was smoking like hell!
Mines quick in 5th from 60 to 100 (kph) and that just with an allard intercooler and de-egr plus a tombie remap (mid level I think). bouncing off 20psi without a boostbox. Just need a vgt turbo and a boostbox (plus airbox mods) and new remap and i'll be sorted
Mine is fairly smokey on takoff tho..
Oh and the vid is 45mph to 110mph (70kmh to 176kmh)
How far are people going to keep pushing the td5? Seems they keep extracting more and more. Maybe they should start making them again!
