Thread: Interior Light Staying On

I seem to be having a problem with the 'fade out' on my '01 110 Defender in that the interior lights are staying on. I need to turn them off at the light switch. They obviously eventually go off as if I turn the switch to 'Door' after a fair drive the lights stay off. Questions are:
- is this a relay or computor control?
- if relay where is it?
- if computor, has anybody bypassed the computor control so that it is just straight off and not fade...hardly a luxury necessity?

Any other ideas?

The fade out option is in the AS10 module (green box) behind the instrument panel and you will need a nanocom or similar to change the settings.

If it used to work ok I would be looking at the switch in the door that activates the light, might just be a poor contact or corrosion.
