No dust or dirt in the recess. I bought 5 last time I ordered, 3 for mates and kept a spare. At $15 ea including shipping they are certainly worth the effort.

That's awesome I allways have to carefully brush the sand out from round the cap after Dune bashing , have always been worried about it falling in the tank, just ordered one , legend

Great. I've just been down the South Island for a couple months. After driving dusty roads I have had to carefully wipe all the dust off the filler cap and around the filler next before filling up. This will solve the problem. I too have just ordered one,

    Breather modification

The fuel overflowing from the breather tube after filling had became more regular on 130 HCPU
I bought 2 m of 8mm od line (same as breather tube) and a couple of push on fittings. I cut the bent section off and extended the tube, forward, along the chassis and up the back of the cab. The bent (hockey stick) section was reattached and secured higher up on the cab rear bulkhead. Cost of tube and fittings was $30

No overflows since modification plus the end of the tube is less prone to water ingress
