That's very generous, thank you. Unfortunately they can't seem to get the week right let alone the day!

Once you have the 90 you don't have to deal with them ever again.
Servicing can be done by any qualified mechanic, & warranty claims can go through any Land Rover dealer.

Interestingly the original owner of my 90 bought through the dealer in Newcastle & had only good things to say about them. Maybe it comes down to the individual sales person.

Interesting reading all this........... when I was enquiring about buying a 90 after seeing what seemed a reasonable price in newspaper ad's I shuffled off to a dealer in Parramatta and got some brochure's.
After test driving a second hand MY 09 90 I decided on a new one.
The sales bloke had one in the yard but it was white and I wanted red (they go faster)
Getting to the point he was able to get on the computer and tell me what was available at the time........then it was just a matter of getting it floated to the yard for my pickup.........no stress......

    Cheers Paul

It's more that a lot of individual things that have give wrong. It's really not the dealers fault I Spose. His sub contractors and suppliers let him down and he's the poor bugger who has to tell me. It's entirely probable mines just a case of all the holes in the Swiss cheese lining up.

Hang in there James. A week or two will go by quick. Once you have it you will soon forget you had to wait.
Your obviously very excited and pumped to get the car.
I do remember the torture of when I had to wait 6 months to get my Discovery 4 when I ordered it.

Very happy with it...........it is after all a new car, sometimes forums only dwell on the disasters worried me a bit at pickup time.
only problem was when SWMBO forgot to close the sun roof and it rained.
Seriously the only complaint is the air intake and heater box do not marry up correctly on my vehicle you can put your hand thru foam seal where it connects...........will see what the dealer has to say next service but its hardly major

James you gonna love your car.

    Hey James.

I bought my new 110 two weeks ago from the dealer you have ordered yours from. In fact I saw it sitting in the showroom last week and asked about it. was told waiting on a winch to arrive and be fitted but it was behind schedule. I bought the black 110 that was in stock and picked it up 10 days later with accessories fitted and some damage to the paint on the roof completely fixed.

I had a snorkel come off my defender last week (hence the reason i was back at the dealer) and they just happened to have one laying around, which they re-fitted under warranty while i waitied.

I have had nothing but positive interactions with this dealer (Dale in particular) as of the moment but haven't taken it for it's 1st service yet either. He seems genuinely interested and keen to help even after they've taken your money.

Hope you get your car soon!
