    110 maintenance day/ evening

Well late this arvo went down to work to do a few long awaited jobs on the 110. Radius rod bushes were to be tossed, the castor correction bushes were playing havoc with the front tailshaft angles, which only got worse after the new springs (NRC9448/9449) went in. This was a success and now we are vibe free and smooth as But wait, there was more....

Maybe I'll just change the diff oils, it's been a year since.

Front diff was like silver paint.

So, at 7pm out came the old, and in with the second hand 24spline centre from one of Pauls wrecks parts stash....

Was like working in a giant refrigerator until I shut the roller door. The snow coverage on mt Wellington was heaps, and IIRC 3 degrees is tonights minimum

Back on the road now, and loving it!

i only do about 10k a year, so the oil gets done about 7 months or so. last time i checked the oil it was needing a change, so waited for the next hoist time/ service. waited too long....although in its defence the diff had done over 200,000km, 100,000km of it with a turbo isuzu and 33's in front of it....
