Not sure if they have changed the compound since, but I tried them about 6 years ago (Hercules Terra Trac)
I got less than 30,000km out of them - I paid a heck of a lot less than $270 but was still dissapointed in the $ / km

I have a set on at the moment, fitted in Newman about 2 years ago and have done around 20,000kms and they have not worn bugger all. The guy selling them could have sold me any tyre but he uses these and reckons he is getting over 100,000kms out of them. We shall see, but they seem to be a good tyre with above standard construction.
Absolutely would not have Coopers again or Hankooks while the Hankooks were good they could not supply a new tyre when I shreddded one on sharp rocks.

A neighbor near my house is a narc. He have a fleet of 12 Toyotas (200's, Prado's, Hilux, Tundra, most of them armored) running Terra Tracs everyday in medium off road without problems, they can't be so bad. I think they worn kind of fast, but one of the bodyguards told me this is the third set for his armored Hilux in 2 years, not much having in count it have a lot of additional weight and goes everyday for long trips in on and off road... is the only reference I have for these tires...

I have Terra Trac Radial A/W on my 130. So far they've done 85000km. There's maybe another 5000 left in them. I'm impressed and I want another set but I was told they're no longer available. They were the cheapest thing around when I bought them.

They are also offering a mud tyre - the Trail Digger M/T. $248 each on ebay.

One of my mates has their A/Ts and he's been fairly happy with them AFAIK. They wear down quicker than his previous BFG ATs he reckons but were not much over $120/tyre he said. That was about 18/12 or so back. Prices have probably changed since then. He's in a late model dual-cab. I think it's one of those D-Max's.

I've seen a few other vehicles around my town here with them on as we have a dealer who does them. IIRC they quoted me around the $200 mark for the A/T when I was buying tyres around this time last year.

I'm aware though that if I see lots of vehicles wearing these tyres that does not actually mean that they're any good though...

I think there may be a couple of different types of these tyres. I will have a look at mine, but the tyre shop indicated these were heavy duty tyres with 10 ply. These were not cheap tyres at around $320 a tyre but that was Newman. I understand you can get a cheaper version, but was informed these were not great tyres.
Will check mine and report back exactly what they are.
So far they are good, nice on road and good off road.
The information I was given is these are an asian made tyre, maybe Korean from memory.
