Thread: Lost my speedo

Hey people i replace my clutch not long ago and since then iv lost my speedo. i did unplug it when removing the gear box i think maybe iv squashed the wire some where on top, it blew no12 fuse. Iv replace the speedo transducer so can rule that out.
But i was wondering if u can get to the top of the gear box with out taking it out again. i think if i could get right under the center console that would probably be right where the wire would run. And does the speedo wire go straight to the ecu.

I have done it before too. Was simple as just loosening the 5-6 nuts and bolts of the transfer case and just pullin the wire out for me as it got stuck between the transmission and t-case.

Just run ur hand along the wire and make sure it's not caught.

Haven't done it since! Learned a lesson haha.
