Thanks for the replys, will wait until the meeting to have a look. Mine has leather trim so would like some protection. The one thing with sheepskin is I like my heated seats

With leather trim ensure that the seat covers have a soft lining, otherwise you will wear the surface and need to recolour the leather down the track.

My old range rover had custom sheep skin covers fitted when I bought it, removed the drivers one a few years later ahd found the unlined sheep skin cover had worn the colour from the surface of the leather.

    Cheers

Dingo Seat Covers make pretty good seat covers.

We had some black denim seat covers made including rear map pockets and pockets on the inside shoulder of each seat. (Cost approx. $150ea) I also had some 'Iron On' Land Rover badges ironed and sewn into place. I love 'em... easy to clean, not too hot or cold to sit on and as comfy as your favourite jeans

I had black duck canvas seat covers in my GQ Nissan for six years of ownership and many many thousand km of touring. They endured a variety of punishment including the perils of carting my mate's kids backwards and forwards across a very wet and muddy Kangaroo Island trip, and kept the seat trim in perfect condition

    Hi fitchaj,

I have a set of those I bought from the UK. They are very waterproof and comfortable in low temperatures (ripstop nylon), but you'll sweat your backside off in anything above 25C.

I do use them in the winter here in the west when we get to play in the mud, but they are packed away for at least 8 month of the year.

    Cheers,

    Lou

I love my canvas seat covers made by "candy canvas". They use a custom made softened canvas that feels more like denim but much tougher to resist wear. They are NOT cold, stiff or cardboard like and won't wear your seats out underneath. Are Aussie made in SA, quality excellent, and price better than the competition. Cost me about $600 for all 6 seats in my defender 130 crew cab (has a middle Dickie seat in front which they custom made). The only thing some poeple don't like is that they don't cover the whole back of the seat, but this doesn't worry me as I only ever sit on the front! They also make a good slide on camper.
    Cheers, Andrew.

candy canvas sound good. any chance of a picture. i would have liked to buy aussie made- if I could have found a quality and finish I was happy with.

here are my M&M and they are a quality finish, at a price, although I think the shipping was 40% of the the overall price...
