    It happened to me when I had owned it a couple of months, had to take it to the dealers to remody. Road side assist didn't have a clue. I think they use a long flat bar to get at the lock.

    Just ordered cables in case, there are two on a puma

    got a mech looking at it tomorrow, it is beyond me, other hack saw through the bonnet catch !!!!!

    When you do get it open you will notice the marks from the last time the dealer got it open. Hack saw may have been the tool of choice. Its nuts if you can't get in them any other way, thay are almost as bad as getting into a D3 tailgate when the cable snaps.

    I for the life of me cant see how you'd even do it was a hack saw, I've got little fingers but cant get any where near the catch, maybe you can come up from underneath between rad????but to even see up there the steering guard has to come off...

    I looked at hinge removel, I dont think you can on the Puma, they are nut and tech bolts if my memory is still intact.

    The dealer went between the bonnet and the plastic panel just under it. I think, by the scratches they must have slid a thin metel strap or a blade to activate the lock mechanism. It moves in a sideways direction I think but cannot remember the direction or on what side its on.
