			another headlight question!

G'Dal all, I have searched through similar problems but no joy.
I pulled my radio out of my '96 def 130 (replaced antenna cable/antenna) and upon completion my headlights are inop. The parkers work and the high beams come on when selected. The only other thing was i gently pried back the instrument cluster to feed through the coax from the firewall to the radio unit, nothing appears to have been separated/unsettled. Thanks in advance if you have any brainwaves. I have checked all fuses on the lower dash. Thanks.

Have had no success so far, would there be some wiring behind the radio I may have disturbed? Nothing else was touched.

I don't have the answer for you, but my 2007 Puma has a similar problem...

 Parkers selected OK.
Switch to headlights with main beam position, and it will usually not work, until I select high beam (always works).
Bring switch back to main beam, and they work.

I don't believe it is the light switch in my case, but haven't identified the problem yet either.

					Brid,
This is exactly what mine (99 TD5) did the other day, but when I got in this morning - nada no headlights at all no mater how much I jiggled the stalk around:-(

Did you work out what it was? I'm planning on having a look this afternoon after work but after reading your post was hoping someone could tell me the issue before I start troubleshooting.

 Thanks.

Turned out to be indicator/horn switch. Thanks to all 4x4 at kotara. They had it in stock and reasonably priced. By reasonably, I mean 1/5 of dealer price. No affiliation, just a happy customer. Lucas you keep trying but you won't break me.
