Mines a TD5 and too went for a Pioneer fold out screen, I'm now thinking about replacing it as any sort of off road driving see's the screen bounce about and I doubt the mechanism could take a lot of that so as soon as I hit the dirt the screen gets folded away. Because of the dash on a TD5 there isn't the room behind to fit a full 7in double din unit so the next option I'm considering is getting a spare centre console and permanently fitting a tablet.

Yes. I am also still thinking about installing my Ipad mini on the dash obove
the controls panel. It fits perfectly in there. I also fold my screen away as
most of the music is played from my iPhone anyway.

Presumanly teh Tdi would be the same as far as room is concerned.?

Surely there's a way around this though ?
