I cannot comment on upgraded loom or the truck lights (however I would love a set of them!)

but what I did do is throw some Phillips +100's globes in (I think that's what they are called?) few people on here use them. made a huge difference int he performance of the factory headlights. id say at least half the brightness again and a better colour (less yellow)

if you do not think you need spotties, try these globes out, I used them for a bit but found I am scared of the dark so fitted spotties and LED light bars

I have heard that it can be possible that if one puts upgraded/more powerful globes into a standard light fitting, there can be issues with the standard reflector with respect to the extra heat that may be generated?

I have installed the Traxide wiring upgrade as part of the driving light installation: Fitting the Traxide Lighting Upgrade and Driving Light Kit to a 2007+
It makes a difference.

However more dramatically has been the improvement gained from using Narva "plus 100" globes. These are probably similar to the Philips mentioned by Leroy above. They are ADR compliant (therefore legal in NSW) and because they are the same wattage (60/55) as the standard globes do not generate more heat thereby avoiding issues with the head lamps. But there is a down side: they don't have the same life span so if I was doing a lot of night driving on rough roads I would probably go back to the "plus 50" version which are better than standard. It's a $60 experiment that for me worked very well.

I have got the Traxide loom upgrade. I found only a very marginal improvement with toe loom upgrade only.

I subsequently installed 90/130w globes for approx $25, which were a considerable improvement.

I have also got some cheep HID spotties 75w. They are awesome!

Found them at Ashdown Ingram standard plug fits on no up grade to wiring

No they are still at the shop.
On paper they look good.

Leroy, I had a look at some of those when I was getting my filters the other day,, could be a good way to go for the time being. And in conjunction with what Mahn has said about the up grade this could be a better option, although the "truck lites" are only $400 a set, so we'll see,, (haha,, get it,, we'll see )
Tomo, How are your reflectors holding out with the 95/130's?
