I've never had a problem with the clutch on my TD5 being too stiff, mind you I learn't to drive in an old Bedford RL so driving a Landie felt like a Rolls Royce in comparison. There's your answer, drive something really crap for awhile instead of fitting a booster and you'll appreciate the Landie no end
