Spotted in Perth - galv?
Parked next to an Orkney coloured Puma in Cottesloe yesterday - it was seriously well equipped, i was impressed. Roll cage, custom rack, raised suspension (i think), etc etc. What surprised me most though was what looked like a galvanised chassis.
I knew this was an option for restorers, but consider this to be an amazing thing to do to protect or enhance a new car - presumably requiring a full strip-down?
Is this a factory option? Anyone know the car? 110 with no back windows

That's not a Puma, a Puma bonnet maybe. It's got the vents under the screen and if it was bought over as per registration on a H plate it's gonna be old. It's probably a 300Tdi.

Which would make it a 200Tdi... air intake on the wrong side though... possibly an complete rebuild of an old 110 (pre-Defender)...

No matter how you look at it though, it's a nice job.

Looks totally Puma to the untrained eye (mine). I thought on those plates it was a 2013 model
Awesome machine

Always look for the screen vents, one of the defining designs of the Defender lost in the Puma

I saw a single-cab ute Puma defender in Cervantes (i think) last weekend that had bonnet hump and open screen vents. Looked brand new.
