    Ram gets dragged around by the Deefer.

    Jeez the yanks come out of the wood work to bitch about this... but the fact remains; all the power in the world wont do you any good if you cant get it to the ground.

    Hardly a fair comparison, the ram is RWD.

    I'm embarrassed that Landy guys are beating their chest so much about it, it's the equivalent of towing a Falcon ute backwards with a Sierra.

    Yes - I agree - the Dodge is only 2wd - not really a fair comparison.

    On the contrary it appears to me that the rear right and the front left wheels of the ram are spinning.

    I think its more an indication of getting traction being 9/10ths of the battle.

    The Ram definitely has both back spinning, it would probably have a slippery diff anyway I'd assume.

    Can't see any activity from the front wheels.

    I'm not sure why we are arguing about the merits of the tug of war... There was obviously a challenge made and accepted (no matter by which party) and the Defender won hands down.

    If it was done as a commercial stunt to promote or discredit either of the vehicles I would agree it to be an uneven match.

    Take it for what it most probably was, a pub bet and the result is pretty amusing to be honest!
