    Sound at 90-100km

Im wondering if anyone has had this sound. Like always, its hard to describe a sound in text.

When driving in 6th on the highway if I need to stop accelerating and let it maintain speed I get a sound for about 1 or two seconds. It almost sounds like air but is sounds as though its coming directly under the centerconsole/drivers seat.

Its worth mentioning I have just put new suspension in, that has raised the front up so its level with the rear again. Surely returning it back to factory height wont of caused any prop shaft angle issues?

It might be the turbo wastegate dumping boost? I used to get this on my 2.4. I think it's normaL.

Is your egr valve making loud chirping noises when you switch the engine off? A stuck egr valve makes a lot of intake noise.

There is a heat shield under the passenger seat right next to the exhaust..on the chassis, grab a set of pliers and bend it so that it doesn't touch anything, the noise I had was at a similar speed and was a hard to describe noise that was coming from that area...worth a look

I hear an air intake sound around the same speed from the front guard area if the window is down.
I also have an incredible shake come through the whole truck at 90-95 k/hr. They say its the: tread pattern/entire front end/tyre balance/shocks/springs/chassis setup/rear setup pushing front setup/just Land Rover?
Christ, I dunno what it is, but it's embarrassing.
When another 4wd comes along side and my whole arm is shaking like I'm doing something I shouldn't be doing at that speed at any rate, well its........
    embarrassing.
And there is no happy ending either.

Did this work? I have spent months chasing this noise as it only appeared after the gearbox came out.

Then I got into Brendans 130 on the weekend and he has exactly the same noise…...

Come around my place and take the Perentie for a lap and start chasing some noises for me eh? Could probably start at 30 km/hr.

Ten to one its wheel balance - swap wheels with someone and see if it goes away, mine did!
