    Odd really isn't it ! are defenders show ponies or workhorses.I must admit i have a shiny new black 90 with sun hatch ,sawtooths and 35% dark tints on all windows, heck i have even washed it twice since i acquired it two months ago. I do like the look of it and I get comments on how good it looks but it is a workhorse, we had the beast on dirt within 8ks of the showroom floor, by the time we got it home 700klms later it had been thru a few creeks (not very deep I admit )and still has pinstripes in the paintwork and dust from the trails but it still looks awesome and it will be used as a daily and a trip machine so i don't worry about the state of the wheels too much…..but it certainly makes me grin when i get in the thing.. cheers one and all..

    Yeah that's my plan - maybe dual finish alloys for daily drive, and then different rims / rubber for trips.

    Even then the dual finish are only to keep SWMBO happy about the long list of missing "luxuries"...

    They are nice wheels and love them but I have already damaged mine, cant avoid it. Dual finish will get damaged but will not stand out like ****..!
