I have one fitted to my 110 and have no issues. For it to foul on the tank it would foul on the guards as wll, so the tank will not make it worse.
Mine rubbed with 265/75 but only took the paint off, 255/85 or 285/75 definitely rub/restrict articulation…..

A lot of the plastic South African Frontrunner tanks (fuel & water), sold by Opposite Lock here are made by Welcome to Plastics for Africa who sell direct to the public.

I haven't bought off them, and I don't know what their prices are like, but South Africa Post send up to 30kg parcels with no dimension restrictions like Aus Post have, which might make it economically worth while via surface mail.

I recently installed both water and fuel tanks on my Puma Defender.

Water tank is the 36 liter made by Front Runner. Well made and nice fitting.
Fuel tank is the Britpart 45 liters. Some installation problem, not so nice fitting and some rework needed but now it's ok.

    Some pics...
