    Waterproofing the Defender's 'lectrics

A few people have said I should waterproof the area under the Defender's driver's seat, as that's where the ECU etc is. The owner's manual also says that standing in water above sill height could result in "severe electrical damage".

So, who has done any waterproofing and how?

I use a spray can on my boat trailor wiring called
    tectyl

    I think CRC make it,,
it set a horrible brown stain over everything but seems to work

if you are talking "electronic boxes"

we used to SEAL the off road race cars comp in a tuppaware container,,
    never had a problem.

Pipe in a few PSI of compressed air just to make sure no water gets in.
