My aftermarket immobilser has died after 15 years.
Ive got it running by shorting the two "cut points" inside the module. Drilled out the tamperproof screws to access the electronic circuit board.
I would like to remove the dud immobiliser and put the start switch back to standard.
Problem is the immob uses all black wires between the immob and the back of the starter switch. (for obvious reasons). The only identifiable wire is the brown 12 volt in, shown on the diagram. (edit The brown wire is on the 4th terminal CW from notch)
Does someone have a diagram that identifies the wiring from the back of the starter switch. The diagram in my defender manual makes no sense at all.
