No worries, yes I know I can do that.
But I am a stickler for stuff being "correct", and the manual specifically refers to a separate "Security Card" which is to be (for obvious reasons) kept separate from the vehicle. I never received such a "card". Did anyone else?
I've received "security cards" for many other new vehicles we've bought, the last 3 Holdens all had them as part of the car's "documentation" supplied with the car.
It's normally a little card around the size of a business card.

Yep, like I said its a pull out part of your owners documentation (a little perforated card) that needs to be filled in - have you looked through your blue folder? They're in there in a bunch of different languages.

Hi, just took delivery (they even delivered it to Sydney!) of a new 130CC and no card or EKA code--have asked Dubbo Land Rover for it. My son has also ordered a new 110 from them so will make sure we get it then too in Feb when it arrives. Great service too by the way and very very good pricing -like many thousands cheaper than certain Sydney dealers.

They do good service work too and no dramas with warranty claims either - I used them once on the way back from WA.

EKA as far as I recall + Emergency Key Access.

Input the key code as a combination code into the ign will enable the vehicle to be started (if it will crank) if for whatever the reason the fob does not enable the ECU.

Dealers! EKAs are applicable across the range from Vogues to 90s.

Had plenty of practice with my D2 in the early years when all the shops (chemists and banks) burglar alarms would jam the radio key :(

My SVX is along lines of:

Remove fob from keyring
unlock drivers door and enter
insert key and move to position II ( the number of times indicated by the first no. of combination) until horn sounds.
Open and close driver's door

Repeat for each other code (combination) number.

If you get it right alarm light will extinguish

If wrong the horn will sound twice

You will only get three goes. then you will need to wait 30 mins before attempting again.

Recommend that you do it for practice as a spare time activity :) before you absolutely must have to do it with the horn barping and carrying on, rain peeing down and the Mrs and kids going off.

SODS Law says you will not have a disabled ECU on a fine sunny day when you are all by yourself and have plenty of time to nut out!

When I bought my new 110 in Nov 2012 it didn't come with a EAK code but did come with radio code on a separate card.
I hassled the dealer for the EAK code which they had to get from Australia.
A week later I got an email back with the EAK code, the radio code and the key number.

So you didn't get an owners manual, service handbook, QuickStart guide, etc?

Seems a little odd - mine (and heaps of others I've seen) came with these books in a little folder - in amongst all that crap there was a sheet of 'cards' that could be pushed out (nothing flash, only bits of paper).

Regardless, there's no point getting hung up on the actual card - they are blank and don't have the numbers you need on them, you'll need to hassle your dealer/LRA to get the info.

I got all the stuff you mentioned in the 1st para, which simply came in it's Landrover Wallet....but no "cards"........and it appears that others have not seen them (cards) either.
I had it in mind to contact my dealer, but didn't want to do that until I discovered whether others received the card,...and it appears that most didn't!
When I've spoken to them, I'll report back.

Agree with Lagerfan. I believe there is a 4 digit radio code, 4 digit ignition code and a 4 digit Immobilisation EKA code - this latter is not the code on your key.The EKA code is accessed through your LR dealer and is determined by the last 6 digits of your VIN #. If you call your dealer they can quickly look this up on the computer and tell you what the EKA code is - they did for me anyway... :)
