Puma Brake light not working
G'day folks,
Rear left brake light not working. One of the lads informed me at the weekend when I was out off-roading with them.
Globe/ bulb is fine - the light works when I put the vehicle lights on, just not when braking. I also have two 12v sockets that were installed for me in the back and these are not working. All I ever run off these are LED lights.
I figure the 12v sockets are taking power from the brake line but while I'm waiting for the installer to confirm, I thought I'd ask about potential causes of failure for the brake light.
A short somewhere? A blown fuse perhaps? I haven't checked the fuse yet.
This isn't the first time it's gone but I can't remember what the cause was last time - I think the fuse was simply replaced.

Have you swapped the old bulb for a new one, common for a twin element globe to blow only one element with the other one still working..just a thought.
