    Converting stake nut to locknut

    Hi all.

I am going to be converting to oil fed bearings and in the process I want to convert to the 'traditional' lock nut on the wheel bearings, can anyone confirm these are the bits I need?

    thanks

Sorry I can't help with confirming the actual part numbers, but I did this with my 2008 130 last year, I got the bits from Triumph Rover Spares in SA (after going through an online order form from the UK and ending up with some of the wrong parts). I haven't dealt with them (TRS) much, but the bloke I spoke to on the phone was able to tell me exactly what parts I needed when I told him what I wanted to do. Might be better than ordering parts by number and hoping they're the right thing.

Could someone let a numpty know what you would be changing with this and why?

So this means the diff oil would lubricate the bearings instead of grease?
