Grey with black roof certainly LOOKS the goods.
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Cool black as black

I have a all black 90 with 35% tints all round, yes it does get hot but a lot of the heat comes up through the floor, handbrake area, once i open the sun hatch thing and lose the heat its pretty good with aircon ,in fact i turn it off,too cold…BTW, didn't a white roof signify a south african build….

It may have done so for a few years, but most hardtop and station wagon Landrovers since the 1940s have had white roofs - certainly my 1956, 1958, 1961, 1981 and 1986 ones have had them, and all have been Australian build.

The problem with dark coloured vehicles, particularly roofs, is not that you cannot cool them down by operating airconditioning etc, but that the very high temperatures that can be reached while parked will cause unnecessarily rapid deterioration of everything inside them, from the trim and upholstery, to the accessories, to any electronic devices you leave in them, your groceries and other purchases. You have a vehicle that to some extent minimises the heat gain by not having acres of near horizontal glass like most cars do today, so why compromise this?

Hey guys. I just bought a white defender with black wheels. Due for delivery to dealer yesterday for pickup next week. Bottom one looks white like the one I'm getting.

Just received the call from dealer. New 110 will be ready for collection middle of next week. Very pumped. Will post pics when I get it.

Obviously I'm new to aulro. I was a long time stalker in the lead up and after selling my LC79 in mid last year. These last eight months or so have been killing me, but nearly there. Looking forward to planning the accessories. Been getting prices from the dealer and can't believe they charge over $2000 for a checker plate set. After market it is.

    Congrats Dave.

Will be interested in your impressions of the LC versus the LR as you get to know it....

I like the black and grey combo - looks fantastic - enjoy. !
