Thread: Under seat mat repair

Puma floor mats wear very quickly, and the corners of the under seat sections have worn through on mine...something my wife complains about.

I can't see the point of buying new mats of the same quality, so have just cut the bottom corners out of a black plastic oil bottle, and glued them over the corners to prevent further deterioration. The plastic should be durable enough, and is thin enough to mould nicely around the profile.

So long as the glue I used (Selleys All Fix) does the job, it will be functional. It's not the prettiest piece of work, so mightn't suit everyone, but it's better than before.
