There have been quite a few positive posts on this unit on AULRO. I haven't heard/ read any negative comments. I thought they were an Aussie invention?
Does anyone know much about these?
Pro's / Con's?
Now that the auto conversion is off the table I am wanting to lighten the clutch on my, MY12 Defender Puma 2.2
Any thoughts/comments appreciated. Cheers.

Regular gym visits with lots of leg presses. You'll hardly notice it then.

or maybe get your girlfriend to drive Babs![]()
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
The booster might outlast the clutch![]()
Even my wife with MS doesn't winge about the clutch in my 2012 90 defender and that's probably the only thing she doesn't winge about. If yours is that heavy Babs get the dealer to check it out on warranty maybe something wrong . Or like others have suggested get down the gym and start leg presses.![]()
If you do fit one Babs let us know how it goes because I would also consider one...later down the track (why not if it does make it even lighter)
and we shouldnt judge people for all we know Babs might have a corn on his toe or perhaps his clutch leg missing.![]()

At a Guess you must have something wrong with you clutch system if you need to lighten it. I test drove one for a short time not too long ago to see if I could press down the clutch before i'd lay down the $ to buy one, It's Clutch is no Heaver than my RAV's Clutch.
Why do I say you have a problem I'm a cripple (almost) if I can drive around pressing a 2.2L Defenders clutch down -> anyone can. Mate get it checked out.
Several peeps have fit the Lucas remote brake servo (1:1.6 pressure ratio IIRC); I've read only positive press on these.
