Thread: Windscreen Wipers

G'day all!
Anyone an idea when, i.e. what year, Land Rover started to introduce windscreen wipers that had an interval wipe position and were returning to resting position when switched off? Either, for the civilian and military market, if there should be a difference.
My mid-late 80'ies 110 doesn't have this feature, funnily enough, and I wonder if it will be possible to modify the system without too much fuss. Any suggestions?

My family all have 110's of the same era. I found a wiper timer on a site called Kitstop. Unfortuneatly they didn't keep them in stock so I had to order some in, had a few vehicles to do and they were cheap. I have a couple left over if you want one. I have put them up in the markets. Mine has been working for years now.
