    Another 2.2 hose rubbing issue!

Last night when I pulled up at home I could smell coolant from my 2012 130.
No real drips or anything noticeable, but on the large hose coming from the water pump on the left hand side of the ute, just where it drops down to go into the side of the motor, a hoseclamp on a heater hose has been left turned around the wrong way and the lug has rubbed thru the larger hose.
This sort of crap really annoys the hell out of me, such a simple thing, that some dummy, couldn't be bothered putting a clamp around the right way. I would recommend that you check the location of the clamp on your 2.2puma.

After having two hoses rub through I dropped my car off at the dealers and asked them to sort the hoses out. They re-routed some and also put foam spaces between any hoses that were close to another. It is annoying but it got mine sorted.

Gotta give a big thumbs up to Lennock land rover in Canberra, I took the ute over there to show them the problem, so they could order a hose in... They sent a guy up to spares, changed the hose, changed the coolant and pressure washed the engine bay while I waited..30 min max. I'm bloody impressed with this sort of service as I'm currently on standby with my dozers for fire breaks with the RFS, so the last thing I need is a ute that let's me down..

Had same problem with my 2012 130, just left home, vehicle went in to limp mode, pulled over by side of road, and noticed the coolant pooling underneath. Rang worldwide assist, and ended up on the flat bed to the nearest dealer. Luckily I was near home. **** poor effort on LR's quality control. Luckily no damage to the engine, thank god for the limp mode feature.
