			Limp wristed Puma interior mirror

					G'day,

Have a fairly new Puma and one one frustration I've not yet solved is how to fix the really "limp-wristed" interior rear view mirror.
I just have to touch it and it changes position, and it's impossible to use the dipping tab as the mirror moves on the ball joint before you get a chance to dip the mirror.

Is this a well known "feature" of the Puma, or have I got a dud and need to get a replacement mirror under warranty?
Alternatively is there a similar mirror from another (ie ex a wrecking yard) vehicle that I can pop into place that has that same spring loaded tab mounting system?

 Thanks,

 Alan

if you have a warranty get it replaced as it is a safety feature that is not performing per spec. My Puma mirror was very firm and certainly would not move unless you wanted it to, even over miles of corrugations. Have never seen this as an issue on this forum. Good luck!

					Hi,
mine is very firm, but with a camper on the back, I very seldom use it.
Most of the time it is tilted sideways and to the left.

 cheers

Mines a bit droopy too. (The review mirror that is!! Get your minds out of the gutter! ). Not too bad to be a problem but every couple of days I have to tweak it "up" a bit as it seems to settle to the same point after a rest. ).
