td5 defender lhs tail light issue.

Hello all. Got an interesting problem with my left side tail lights and windscreen wipers.
I keep blowing the fuse for the left side but if I replace it , it automatically starts up the wipers when I turn the ignition on until it blows again. Is my car posessed?
Sounds like some wires are crossed somewhere but I don't know were to start.
 Any help would be appreciated.
 Thanks. Ryan

					Hi Ryan,
one common place for shorts is the wiring that runs through the chassis (RHS) to the rear of the vehicle. - Why this would affect your windscreen wipers is another question.
I had an issue where my stereo/clock/horn would always blow a fuse. I left it out for a time and discovered that they all work when I put the car into reverse - somehow the reverse light was feeding powere to the others.
I pulled a new set of cables through the chassis and it was all fixed.

 Scott.
