    Paint colour code

Hi guys, I've got a new white puma 110 with black sawtooth rims. I've ordered an ARB bar and I'm seeking help choosing a bar colour. My wife (who is the primary driver) doesn't want a black bar because it looks too commercial. She loves the appearance of the Defender and showed a fair bit of resistance to getting a bar in the first place. She's raised the idea of getting the bar painted the colour of the front headlight surround.

Can anyone help me with a colour code for the headlight surround, or otherwise a suitable colour. I'm not keen on a white bar.

    Thanks in advance.

    Dave

I'd suggest taking your beloved wifey to a hypnotist, and do not leave until she believes black is the best option

Seriously though, Lotz-a-Landies put a sticky in the forum about colour codes, but I don't think there is one listed that covers the common "brunei" colour of the grill and surrounds. Perhaps your dealer could help?

Either that, or take the vehicle to a panel place and show them in person. They may be able to mix up a batch of paint to do your bar for you.

    Cheers

It's funny she has said that because that is exactly the colour I would do it if I didn't want black!

I don't know the paint code but I thought I read somewhere that the headlight surrounds are bruni grey or something like that

I got wing vents in grey and when the sliders were built i was going to paint them grey also,
    Never ended up happening though

I think a white puma with a grey bar like the light surrounds will look really good, especially if you can match sliders to it and even a wheel carrier

It will be much more Subtle but will still have that "oh that looks nice but in not sure why" factor

    Thanks for the replies guys.

I would be very happy with black, but that's how it is. I think the grey will look great, but would like to see something similar first.

Anyone got pics of a white defender with grey bar? Google search resulted in little.

I'm not sure you will find one because its unusual

However if someone is good and has time maybe they can do it in photo shop for you

Brunel Grey paint code is LBO. Any good panel shop should be able to make that colour. Just make sure they check the match to the grill as colours are rarely perfect when made to the formula.
