Oh my winch has only been used four times (only one was self recovery) in eight years, my have been snatched once, have been winched once up a stupidly steep hill at about 10km/hr and we just hooked on to one hook.

if your swivels are lower than the cradle then is kind of makes my question defunct anyway

it looked like in your photo that they were almost side by side of the cradle at the same height which is why I asked the question

must of been just a bit of photo trickery

You are correct the swivel recovery points are right beside the cradle which means you cannot use a bridle.....the swivels come with the bar. They make a great spot to attach my rope to......I don't think I will use them for recovery, maybe a 2:1 pull

I have retained the hooks that I had with my TJM bar which would allow me to use a bridle

Aaaaa I see what you mean now

it may be totally fine having the swivels in that area I was just curious...whether it would effect towing/snatching a vehicle out..

Picked up my hawse fare lead the other night from Nugg t so the install is nearly compete, i only have to fit the rear bolt. Still deciding if I use washer or see if Jate Ring will take up the space.

I tell ya Nugg t does a good job on the fare leads, they feel way more solid that your off the shelf jobbies
