Thread: MY07+ shockies interchangable with MY13 shock absorbers?

Hi,

After looking and searching the internet and spending much time using different forums search functions.. i am ready to tear my hair out.

I'm looking for information on my MY13 defender and it's Shock absorbers but cannot find any info when i google them or when i search for the part number.

The Part numbers are RNB501450 & RPD501000 for Front & Rear Shock absorbers. What I am interested in knowing is if these are interchangable with 2007 on Defenders or not. I am looking for spares for a upcoming trip and do not want to purchase full price genuine shocks that may not get used and I do not have the budget (sadly) to justify replacing all the shockies with aftermarkets before i leave as mine are still in good condition with less than 15K on them.

If anyone has any information or happens to have some old ones in good condition laying around and would be willing to part with them, please let me know.

I'd be 99% confident that they're interchangeable - particularly in a 'get you out of trouble' context.
