Sounds nice. I would double check the DSC however as I don't believe any MY14 has it, and Australia wont get it at all was my understanding.
As of today
I ordered in March

I’ve been chasing updates from LR with my stock controller and the latest on your vehicle is;
There has been no Defender order runs for May or June now and car has been pushed into a July production run.
But
Silver Pack
and
DSC
and
Leather Seats (new)
So overall not such a bad thing, but it would appear to be a fairly congested production queue, so if ordering don't leave it too late.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

My order date was mid April, manufacture mid May and from the dealers reports it is on its way. This was for the last run of Firenze Red (and Tamar Blue) so maybe its different to silver or greys.
The issue with DSC is new though. Can you advise where you heard this from and are their any others in the know that can verify that no DSC?

my 130 arrived 3 weeks ago built jan 2014 no dsc
My 2014 build (Jan) has no DSC.
From the LR website - There was reference somewhere to it being europe market only aswell which I cant find at the moment:
https://www.landrover.com/au/en/lr/a...er-black-pack/
Dynamic Stability Control
From 2015 Model Year the 90 station wagon and 110 Station wagon will be fitted with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) as standard. This will be packaged with ABS and therefore means that these Defender models will have ABS with Electronic Traction Control (ETC) and DSC as standard. ABS will also be available for the first time on 130 wheel base Defender models.
Found it:

Nice work Andy, with that colour and options pack it sounds like it will be one of the most sought after Defenders going around.
Out of interest, if you look on Carsales there are a couple of 2013 model 110 Defs at $47,888 drive away in Tas which seems decent value. Were you able to negotiate much discount for yours? Don't feel obliged to say how much you paid but I'm curious to know if you need to pay a big premium for ordering a 2014 plate car with higher spec.
To clarify,
Mine is a MY15 plated, only last weekend was i advised that this has occurred, and hence DSC being fitted. The week before was advised the Black & Silver packs were coming to Australia after earlier being told no.
So the delay has worked out well for me. I chose the Silver pack and the leather seats with the red inserts. I already had the premium seats on order.
The Silver Pack is 3300, Black Pack is 1800 & seats 2620. But i dropped the Sawtooth wheels, so actually costing less than the original config.

Mate sounds like that worked out well for you.
So did your dealer indicate that there was no production capacity in May/June?
Mine is meant to have been built this month (May) for an August delivery. Would actually be pretty happy if it got bumped back to July also for an MY15 build.
