Just curious - Under full extension of the front suspension, ie jack the chassis up and let the front wheels dangle - how much clearance are you getting in the front uj yokes. I've been interested in a 50mm lift on my PUMA, but I've heard about a few transfer case front output housing chewed up on PUMA's when off roading with any form of lift. (I think you can fix this with a double cardan joint as used in a Discovery - but that adds quite a bit to the cost of the lift.)

(I believe ARB refuse to fit lifted suspension to post 2007 defenders as they have had to wear the cost of replacing a few transfer cases in the past).

Soz, already have. DC shaft, since the original lift some years back.

But.....I can tell you that DC shaft is a must is lifting a PUMA, even a little bit.

Having been through two DC shafts I am now trying the widening of the existing yokes but you have to do something to the front shaft with any lift over about 40mm on the puma.

    Looking fantastic Drover.

I can also recommend Brendan and the lads down at Ultimate Suspension.

My Puma 110 went in for the following about a year ago following a recommendation from Daniel (Mulgo):

    FRONT
    +50mm HD rated King Springs
+ 50mm HD shocks (Ultimate Suspension)
    B-M DC prop shaft
    Gibson Ryder steering damper

    REAR
    +50mm MD rear coils
+50mm Aussie Ryder twin tube gas shocks (GVM valving)
    Firestone Coil Rite Airbag

I did experience a dislocation problem in the Simpson and a recent Cox's River trip whereby the rear spring would not seat itself back in its housing after dislocating but this was found to be an issue with the length of the shock absorber - it needed a stopper to reduce the over-dislocation.....so the guys there fixed it in no time at no charge.

Awesome to deal with and I highly recommend them. They genuinely want their customers to have the best possible solution to suit their needs.

BM dc propshaft? Is that bailey Morris? And are they the ones that self destruct and NOT for ON road use?

Not sure what you're referring to there uninformed, but mine's been faultless in all conditions, very heavy off-roading and a lot of miles on the blacktop too.

    Touch wood ;-)

By all reports, you should keep touching wood - as Uniformed indicated, they have a rep for self destructing when used at highway speeds.
