    Thumbs up U.K. Defender "Industry"!

Having now owned our Defender for around 6 months, I've bought a few UK Landrover magazines, & I never cease to be amazed at how many companies over there simply modify/service/restore Defenders.....mechanical,body,chassis,sound systems, minor stuff to full restos,...there's some-one that can do it.
For someone like me who is mechanically hopeless, it'd be great,...as long as I had the pennies!

And the stuff they sell is well thought out and very clever, unlike Oz companies who think improvements are making already heavy vehicles heavier or a longer LED light bar. Pat

The best outback tourer is a troopy with a lift kit and half a ton of ARB crap hanging off it,is it any wonder the ''Eggsperts'' carry on about how tough the outback is and how it's a car breaker, just add more crap, from our sponsor obviously, that'll make it tougher.I like the British way,low COG,secure storage, less wieght, standard parts,235/85 or 7.50x16's,worked for Len Beadell. I am in Southfields, UK, visiting friends. We just arrived today after a week in Paris. Saw one silver Puma 110 in Paris. Just walking to our friends house from the train station today we saw a 2014 single cab utility and an old soft top 90

I hope to check out a few LR shops while we're over here, but we only have 6 days before we move on.
