The 130 was getting cranky on cold mornings, glow plugs me thinks. Was also cranky, sometimes, when hot.Checked injector plug at head, oil everywhere.Cleaned several times with contact cleaner,no more starting problems.Saturday, hard to start again, oil at plug, clean and bingo, good as new again. So if your td5 is getting hard to start, check the plug before replacing glow plugs
This is oil in the injector loom and is a well known problem. 100s of posts on this site over the years. If it actually gets into your wiring you will have future dramas. The injecto loom in the rocker is easy to replace, the main loom to the ecu can be cleaned and is a big job to replace, so better to clean.
