    Cool Finally arrived! the replacement.

So today we finally picked up our car...was it smooth sailing??

of course not!! because who says picking up a new car should be as simple as getting your keys signing the paper work and saying thanks and driving out with a grin on your face....

Anyway lets just say we have it now and hopefully its not a sign of things to come.

So while it looks like every new defender that gets delivered I have to post a picture because it didn't happen without pics right?!

Ironically first mod to be done will be meeting up with another member and swapping grills and headlight surrounds..I hate the black and he wants to the back Sweeeet!...Then the mods will happen as money becomes available.

There is a snorkel on the way, hoping to be able to buy some Nugget stuff on next pay day....and then it will be saving for some ridji stuff etc...

When I actually have something to show I will start a thread in members rides

Crappy photo I know but it was just about to go dark and the iphone is not the best in lowlight

    Love the truck mate.
That colour looks perfect on a Defender I think.
I don't mind the grill etc. In black. Maybe one day I will get one second hand.

I don't like the coloured lens either on the indicators..so will be getting rid of those as soon as I can too

    I prefer the clear ones

    I wouldnt call us lucky...

because the last car was written off..due to us not realising that all of our accessories were listed as per part of the insurance agreement which did in fact change from when we first had it...(when only the bullbar and roof rack were listed)

We actually lost quite a bit of money so we have gone in to a bit of debt to get this car.. not much!!! but a bit...we are of the opinion well take it on the chin or we don't get one at all with them ending.

The biggest thing is we just dont have the money to put the goodies on it took along time to get the 110 how we wanted it..and I fear with the lack of funds we have the 130 will take just as long if not longer..

    but I'm saving hard

Have the 130s always had the coloured lenses, or have they gone back to them?
My 2012 90 has the clear ones.

90 and 110 have the grey grills and the clear lenses...

the 130 is considered commercial truck so doesn't get the nice stylised bits..like that or the subwoofer etc..

Luck, or no luck, doesn't matter now,...you have got one of the last 130s,...a classic, which you are going to appreciate for a very long time.
The photo isn't too flash,..is it Keswick?
    Congratulations, Pickles.
