Thread: defender 300tdi heater matrix

CAN ANY ONE HELP WITH INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE THE HEATER MATRIX FROM MY 110 DEFENDER 1996. MATRIX IS LEAKING AND VEHICLE IS AIR-CONDITIONED,ANY HELP APPRECIATED

you have to remove the whole blower assembly because the matrix is clamped into the assembly at the bottom, there are two bolts[were on mine at least] that the assembly is mounted with at the bottom that go into the footwell air con area, i could not access them to reinstall so i used tech screws instead, I did mine a few months ago and was hoping the matrix would just lift out of the assembly but that would have been to easy.
