Something happened to the spacing here maybe the "Mods" can fix
Cheers
When turning right from a standing start and shifting from first to second gear as I make the turn something appears to foul or grab the steering.
The wheels don't want to centre again exiting the turn and a bit of effort is required to break out of the arc if this makes sense. Could this be a power steering pump issue or linkages it doesn't happen every time but it does happen 3 out of 4 times.
Luckily first time it happened I was on a wide dirt road intersection and had time to react now I expect it every stopped right turn.
Any thoughts

I'd start by getting under the front of the car and looking up to see if anything is fouling the steering shaft or pitman arm?
will check again tommorrow nothing seemed amiss after a quick look

+1 on what N plus one says, maybe something fouling.
I had the turbo hose (a well known issue with them) fouling on the steering shaft and preventing proper movement of the wheel.
I've had it replaced 4 times with different/new versions.

Mike.
Check the swivels. Some were not packed with enough grease in the early days
I had that same drama a month ago
It turned out the steering box was stuffed
I changed the ignition barrel
And the steering shaft
we had resistance (could also be explained as a notchy feeling) which came apparent when at around 10 and 1 on the wheel when turning the wheel on our 110 at slow maneuvering speeds only,,,I don't know the exact cause but I do know they changed the entire steering column for it.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Hhm a bit to think about here, will give frontend a visual and a rattle in the daylight
Still under warranty so a trip to dealership fore armed is in order me thinks
Will post results
Cheers
